You know him, you love him he is… Thank Me Later. The first ever Show Ring illustrated Icon featured and one you will talk about forever. He is an icon as he has made a huge bang in the sheep industry this past year. From being a natty that has a skeletal build that holds Burch’s heart to seeing all of his babies hit the ring with one of the most iconic looks. Thank me later was bred by Hoeing/Hill and owned with Burch Livestock LLC.
“It’s good to have friends.”
Last January, made Kolby Burch’s year. When some of his close friends, Bryan Williams and Mike Kidd went out to Hoeing/Hill in Rushville, Indiana. When they left they were happy with what they saw. Immediately after the visit they turned around and called Burch Livestock and told Kolby there was a buck he had to look at. Randy Hill, reached out shortly after Mike and Bryan’s trip to ask Kolby to stop by and take a look.
“We remember the day, it was Friday, February 5th 2025…. There was a pending ice storm moving into the Midwest and the Burch clan were eager to get back to Chicago to catch their flight back home but they were for sure going to make the stop in Rushville.
“It took us only about three seconds of evaluating the buck before we told Randy “just take all our money”…That 65 day old buck lamb soon became known as “Thank Me Later”.
It wasn’t his overwhelming stoutness, or density, or handling quality that lured us in instantly…it was his impeccable skeletal make up. We introduced TML to the public with a video in early March 2025 and shortly after- shipping dates started to book. He became fertile in mid-June of 2025 and really hasn’t missed a beat since. He’s gone on to sire some dominant show sheep through the early jackpot season, high sellers and multiple stud bucks.
We’re more confident than ever in Thank Me Later and are incredibly grateful to everyone who has utilized him!
